Dr. Benjamin Thayil

Dr. Benjamin is a Miami native and a graduate of Nova Southeastern University's College of Optometry. He has earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Vision Sciences as well as his Doctorate of Optometry. He has also completed his residency in ocular disease at the third largest Veteran's Affairs Hospital in the country, the Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Dr. Benjamin is passionate about disease prevention and the maintenance of a high quality of life for his patients. He also believes in the patient experience and making sure he is surrounded by the best team that can deliver high standards of care and customer service.

When he is not at the office, Dr. Benjamin serves as a mentor, leader, and coach to individuals who desire to reach their goals and live up to their maximum potential. He and his wife, Sarah, have an overactive Golden Retriever who they are both allergic to, but love her too much to let her go.
